حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ؟ " قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ؟ " فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنَا، قَالَ: " مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ؟ " فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنَا، قَالَ: " لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ، وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, the Prophet (ﷺ) encouraged the people three times to bring news of the enemy, and each time Zubair volunteered himself for this service. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every prophet had a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair.
