حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ إِنْ فَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْكَ مَكَّةَ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، فَقَالَ: "، ، صَلِّ هَاهُنَا "، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: " صَلِّ هَاهُنَا "، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: " شَأْنَكَ إِذًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: "O Messenger of Allah! I had made a vow that if Allah granted victory over Makkah at your hands, I would go to Bayt al-Maqdis and pray there." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Pray here." He asked again, and the Prophet (ﷺ) gave the same answer. He asked again, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is up to you."
