حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً: عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا دَعْوَةً مِنَ الْمَصْرِ، أَوْ رَمْيَةً مِنَ الْمَصْرِ، فَهِيَ لَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever revives barren, deserted land, it becomes his.
