Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whenever a person supplicates, Allah surely grants it to him, or averts from him a calamity or distress similar to it, as long as he does not supplicate for something sinful or for severing ties of kinship.
