حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " طَائِرُ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ فِي عُنُقِهِ "، قَالَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ: " يَعْنِي الطِّيَرَةَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Every servant's bird (record of deeds) will be hanging around his neck.
