حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ نَهَانَا عَنْ أَنْ نَسْتَدْبِرَ الْقِبْلَةَ، أَوْ نَسْتَقْبِلَهَا بِفُرُوجِنَا إِذَا أَهْرَقْنَا الْمَاءَ "، قَالَ: " ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِعَامٍ يَبُولُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from facing or turning our backs towards the Ka'bah when relieving ourselves. But after that, one year before his passing, I myself saw the Prophet (ﷺ) urinating while facing the Qiblah.
