حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، وَقَدْ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّهُ: " مَنْ أَعْمَرَ رَجُلًا عُمْرَى لَهُ وَلِعَقِبِهِ، فَإِنَّهَا لِلَّذِي يُعْمَرُهَا قَدْ بَتَّهَا مِنْ صَاحِبِهَا الَّذِي أَعْمَرَهَا مَا وَقَعَ مِنْ مَوَارِيثِ اللهِ وَحَقِّهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) decreed that if something is given to someone for a lifetime, it will belong to him and his offspring, and the one who gave it has no right to take it back because of his statement.
