حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَذِنَ لِأَصْحَابِ الْعَرَايَا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهَا بِخَرْصِهَا، يَقُولُ: " الْوَسْقَ، وَالْوَسْقَيْنِ، وَالثَّلَاثَةَ، وَالْأَرْبَعَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) permitted the people of ‘Araya to sell by estimation, I heard him say: Whether it is one wasq, or two, three, or four, the same ruling applies to all.
