حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً، فَلَهُ فِيهَا أَجْرٌ، وَمَا أَكَلَتِ الْعَافِيَةُ مِنْهَا، فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ "، وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي، ، بُكَيْرٍ: " مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً، فَهِيَ لَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever revives barren, deserted land will receive its reward, and for every animal that eats from it, he will receive the reward of charity for all of them.
