Musnad Ahmad Hadith 14825

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) came to the house of an Ansari along with one of his companions, greeted with salam, and said: "If you have water left over from the night in this vessel, then fine, otherwise we will drink directly from it." At that time, the man was watering his garden. He said to the Prophet (ﷺ): "I have water left over from the night," and he took both of them towards his tent. Upon reaching there, he poured water into a bowl and milked a goat over it, which the Prophet (ﷺ) drank. After the Prophet (ﷺ), the companion who had come with him also drank it.
