حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ، قَالَ: فَسَأَلَهُ: " كَمْ ضَرِيبَتُكَ؟ " قَالَ: ثَلَاثَةُ آصُعٍ، قَالَ: فَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ صَاعًا (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called Abu Taybah. He performed cupping for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "What tax is imposed upon you?" He replied, "Three sa’." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reduced it by one sa’.
