حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُهُ، فَإِذَا أَعْرَبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُهُ، إِمَّا شَاكِرًا، وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every child is born upon the correct nature until he begins to speak with his tongue; then when he speaks, he is either grateful or ungrateful.
