حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " فِيمَا سَقَتِ الْأَنْهَارُ وَالسَّيْلُ (١) الْعُشُورُ، وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّانِيَةِ نِصْفُ الْعُشُورِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: On land irrigated by rain or springs, ‘ushr (one-tenth) is obligatory, and on land irrigated by buckets, half of ‘ushr (one-twentieth) is obligatory.
