حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَفَّنَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ، فَلْيُحْسِنْ كَفَنَهُ، وَصَلُّوا عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سَوَاءً " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When one of you gives a shroud to his brother, he should shroud him well, and offer four takbirs over your dead, whether it is day or night.
