حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنِ الْقَتِيلِ الَّذِي قُتِلَ، فَأَذَّنَ فِيهِ سُحَيْمٌ، قَالَ: كُنَّا بِحُنَيْنٍ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُحَيْمًا أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ: " لَا يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ "، قَالَ: وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ قُتِلَ أَحَدٌ، قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ: قَتَلَ أَحَدًا (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the murdered person: after whose killing Suhaim made an announcement. He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered Suhaim to announce among the people that only a believer will enter Paradise.
