Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ حَسَنٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " غِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهَا، وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللهُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: May Allah forgive the tribe of Ghifar and grant safety to the tribe of Aslam.
