حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ، ، عَقِيلٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ: صَلِّ بِنَا كَمَا رَأَيْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي، " فَصَلَّى بِنَا فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَشَدَّهُ تَحْتَ الثَّنْدُوَتَيْنِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah bin Muhammad says that I requested Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): "Lead us in prayer in the same manner as you saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) leading." So he led us in prayer wearing a single garment, tying it under his chest.
