حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ (١) يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَطَّابِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ "، قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ: فِيمَا سِوَاهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The reward for offering prayer in this mosque of mine is greater than a thousand prayers in other mosques, except for Masjid al-Haram, where the reward for one prayer is greater than one hundred thousand prayers.
