Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that it was asked whether the Prophet (ﷺ) said that if the son of Adam had a valley, he would desire another. He replied: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, if the son of Adam had a whole valley of date palm trees, he would desire a second, and if he had two, he would desire a third, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except the dust of the grave.
