حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " غَفَرَ اللهُ، ، لِرَجُلٍ كَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ، كَانَ (١) سَهْلًا إِذَا بَاعَ، سَهْلًا إِذَا اشْتَرَى، سَهْلًا إِذَا قَضَى، سَهْلًا إِذَا اقْتَضَى " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty forgave a man from the previous nations only because he was gentle in buying and selling, in payment, and in demanding repayment.
