حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ "، قَالَوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، مَا بِرُّ الْحَجُّ (١) ؟ قَالَ: " إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ، وَإِفْشَاءُ السَّلَامِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Paradise. The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by an accepted Hajj? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Giving food and spreading peace.
