حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " ثُمَّ نَزَلَ عَنِ الصَّفَا، حَتَّى إذا انْصَبَّتْ (٢) قَدَمَاهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي سَعَى، حَتَّى إِذَا صَعِدْنَا الشِّقَّ الْآخَرَ مَشَى " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Among the details regarding the Hajj of the Prophet (ﷺ) from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), it is also mentioned that then the Prophet (ﷺ) descended from Safa, and when his blessed feet reached the middle of the valley, he hastened his pace (performed Sa'i), until when we ascended the other side, the Prophet (ﷺ) began to walk at his normal pace.
