حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ العَقَدِىُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ مَغَانِمَ حُنَيْنٍ، إِذْ قَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: اعْدِلْ، فَقَالَ: " لَقَدْ شَقِيتُ إِنْ لَمْ أَعْدِلْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was distributing the spoils of the Battle of Hunayn when a man stood up and said, "Act justly." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "If I do not act justly, then that would be a great misfortune."
