حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ،، ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ، وَغِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ فِي أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Faith is among the people of Hijaz, and hardness of hearts and oppression and harshness are among the eastern herdsmen.
