حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الْمُقَدَّمُ، وَشَرُّهَا الْمُؤَخَّرُ، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الْمُؤَخَّرُ، وَشَرُّهَا الْمُقَدَّمُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The best row among the rows of men is the first one, and the worst is the last one, whereas among the rows of women, the worst is the first one and the best is the last one.
