حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ ابْتَاعَ بَعِيرًا بِثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ دِينَارًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " بِكَمْ أَخَذْتَهُ؟ " قَالَ: بِثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ دِينَارًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " بِعْنِيهِ بِمَا أَخَذْتَهُ، وَلَكَ ظَهْرُهُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he bought a camel for thirteen dinars. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "For how much did you buy it?" He replied, "For thirteen dinars." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Sell it to me for the same price you bought it, and you may ride it until you reach Madinah Munawwarah."
