Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " مُتْعَتَانِ كَانَتَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنَهَانَا عَنْهُمَا عُمَرُ، فَانْتَهَيْنَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), there were two types of Mut'ah. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) forbade us from both of them, and we refrained.
