حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَقُلْتُ: الضَّبُعَ آكُلُهَا؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: أَسَمِعْتَ ذَاكَ مِنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdur Rahman says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the badger, whether I can eat it? He replied: Yes! I asked: Is it game? He replied: Yes! I asked him: Is this statement from the Prophet (ﷺ)? He replied: Yes.
