Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " سَاقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ سَبْعِينَ بَدَنَةً "، قَالَ: " فَنَحَرَ الْبَدَنَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) took seventy camels with him in the year of Hudaybiyyah, and one camel was sacrificed on behalf of seven people.
