حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ طَبِيبًا، فَقَطَعَ لَهُ عِرْقًا، ثُمَّ كَوَاهُ عَلَيْهِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) sent a physician to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), who cut a vein in his arm and then cauterized it.
