حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، قَالَ: كُنَّا يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ، فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Hudaybiyyah, our number was fourteen hundred souls. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to us: "Today, you are better than all the people on the face of the earth."
