Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, the Prophet (ﷺ) encouraged the people three times (to bring news of the enemy), and each time Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) offered himself for this service. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair."
