حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ "، قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ: قَالَ أَبِي: " وَقَضَى بِهِ عَلِيٌّ بِالْعِرَاقِ "، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: (١) " كَانَ أَبِي قَدْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، قَالَ: وَلَمْ يُوَافِقْ أَحَدٌ الثَّقَفِيَّ (٢) عَلَى جَابِرٍ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى قَرَأَهُ عَلَيَّ، وَكَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ صَحَّ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave a verdict in favor of the claimant by taking an oath from him in the presence of one witness (as if the oath was accepted as a second witness).
