حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَانَتْ (١) لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَزْرَعَهَا، أَوْ عَجَزَ عَنْهَا، فَلْيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ، وَلَا يُؤَاجِرْهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever has land, he should cultivate it himself; if he cannot do so or is unable, then he should give it as a gift to his brother, but he should not rent it out."
