حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، حَتَّى نَهَانَا عُمَرُ أَخِيرًا " يَعْنِي النِّسَاءَ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to practice Mut'ah with women during the time of the Prophet (ﷺ), and Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), until later Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) forbade it.
