حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ بَاعَ عَبْدًا وَلَهُ مَالٌ، فَمَالُهُ لِلْبَائِعِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sells a slave who possesses property, then his property belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise."
