Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ نَحَرُوا جَزُورًا، أَوْ بَقَرَةً "، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: " نَحَرْتُ جَزُورًا، أَوْ بَقَرَةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived in Madinah, the people slaughtered a camel or a cow.
