Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ح وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ "، قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ: " وَرَأَيْتُ أَنَا جَابِرًا يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ "، قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: وَرَأَيْتُ جَابِرًا يُصَلِّي وَلَمْ، ، يُسَمِّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in a single garment.
