حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الْمُقَدَّمُ، وَشَرُّهَا الْمُؤَخَّرُ، وَشَرُّ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الْمُقَدَّمُ، وَخَيْرُهَا الْمُؤَخَّرُ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ، إِذَا سَجَدَ الرِّجَالُ فَاغْضُضْنَ أَبْصَارَكُنَّ، لَا تَرَيْنَ عَوْرَاتِ الرِّجَالِ مِنْ ضِيقِ الْأُزُرِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The best rows among the men are the first ones, and the worst are the last ones, whereas among the women, the worst rows are the first ones and the best are the last ones." Then he said: "O group of women! When the men go into prostration, lower your gaze and do not look at the private parts of the men through the openings of their lower garments."
