Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ،، ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ غُلَامًا جَوَادًا فَصِدْتُ أَرْنَبًا فَشَوَيْنَاهَا، فَأَرْسَلَ مَعِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِعَجُزِهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was a strong boy, I hunted a rabbit, then we roasted it. Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) sent one of its sides to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) by my hand, and the Prophet (ﷺ) accepted it.
