English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Rubai‘, who was the mother of Haritha (may Allah be pleased with him), broke the tooth of a girl. Then those people came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and began to demand retribution (qisas). The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered retribution. So Rubai's mother said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Will so-and-so's (my daughter's) tooth be broken?" By the One Who has sent you with the truth, so-and-so woman's tooth will not be broken. Meanwhile, those people became pleased and forgave her and gave up their demand for retribution. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are some servants of Allah who, if they swear an oath by Allah regarding something, Allah surely fulfills their oath."
