حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي (٢) إِسْرَائِيلَ (٣) قَالَ:، سَأَلْتُ أَبِي عَنْهُ فَقَالَ: " شَيْخٌ ثِقَةٌ "، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي الْفَزَارِيَّ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " بَعَثَتْنِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَيْءٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَائِمًا فِي يَدِهِ الْمِيسَمُ، يَسِمُ (٤) الصَّدَقَةَ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that my mother once sent me to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) with something. When I arrived there, I saw that the Prophet (ﷺ) was standing and in his blessed hand was a branding iron with which he was branding the animals of charity.
