Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، (٤) قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ لِحَاجَتِهِ نَجِيءُ أَنَا وَغُلَامٌ مِنَّا بِإِدَاوَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would go to relieve himself, I and a boy would present a water vessel.
