Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came and asked the Prophet (ﷺ) for something. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that he be given many goats from the charity goats, "as many as could fit between two mountains." That man went back to his people and said, "O people! Accept Islam, because Muhammad (ﷺ) gives so much that there is no fear of poverty or destitution." In another chain of narration, there is this addition: Sometimes a man would come to the Prophet (ﷺ) and accept Islam only to obtain worldly goods, but by the evening of that day, the religion would become dearest to him of all things.
