Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، (٤) عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً، أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا، فَإِنَّ كَفَّارَتَهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever forgets to pray or sleeps through it, its expiation is only that he should pray it when he remembers.
