Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that under the guardianship of Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) there were some orphans under care. He bought some wine with their money and kept it. When wine was declared forbidden, he asked the Prophet (ﷺ) whether, if the orphans had wine, could they not turn it into vinegar? He replied, "No." So they poured it away.
