Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a beggar came to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that dates be given to him, but he did not touch them. Another came, and the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that dates be given to him; he happily accepted them and said, "Subhan Allah! Dates from the Prophet (ﷺ)." Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to his maidservant, "Go to Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) and have her give him the forty dirhams that are with her."
