حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا كَمْ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعًا: عُمْرَتَهُ الَّتِي صَدَّهُ الْمُشْرِكُونَ عَنْهَا فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ أَيْضًا مِنَ الْعَامِ الْمُقْبِلِ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ حَيْثُ قَسَمَ غَنَائِمَ حُنَيْنٍ مِنَ الْجِعِرَّانَةِ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "How many times did the Prophet (ﷺ) perform Hajj?" He replied, "Four times: one ‘Umrah during the time of Hudaybiyyah, the second in the month of Dhu al-Qa‘dah from Madinah, the third ‘Umrah also in the month of Dhu al-Qa‘dah from Ji‘ranah when the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed the spoils of the Battle of Hunayn, and the fourth ‘Umrah was performed along with Hajj."
