Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، فَمَا قَالَ لِي قَطُّ لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ قَطُّ، أَسَأْتَ، وَلَا بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعْتَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I served the Prophet (ﷺ) for nine years. For any task that I completed, the Prophet (ﷺ) never said to me that you did badly or you did wrong.
