Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ شَعْرُهُ شَحْمَةَ أُذُنَيْهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the hair of the Prophet (ﷺ) did not extend beyond the earlobes.
